How to Enable Root on a Mac running Leopard

1 - Go to applications->utilities

2 - Open Directory Utility

3 - Unlock it if not already unlocked

4 - Go to Edit->Enable Root User

5 - Enter a password for root

Now, you can su to root in terminal sessions, and the 'Other Users' option will show up on the login window.
